CELOX Gauze Roll & Gauze Pads
Full-strength CELOX granules are bonded to the surface of CELOX gauze, which has a more stable, denser consistency than traditional thready gauze and does not compact under pressure. Just apply the product directly to the bleeding site and apply pressure. Most bleeding is stopped in under three minutes, with little or no occurrence of re-bleed.
CELOX Nosebleed Dressing
CELOX Nosebleed Dressing is a small, specially-shaped pad bonded with full-strength CELOX granules. The pad may be easily inserted into the nostril to stop bleeding fast.
Celox™ Technology Saves Lives.
When it comes into contact with blood, Celox™ forms a robust gel plug in 30 seconds. It works independently of the body’s normal clotting processes and Celox™ clotting ability has been proven to work in the presence of common anti-coagulant blood thinning medications like Coumadin, Warfarin and Heparin. CELOX works in cold (hypothermic) conditions and unlike other products, it generates no heat and will not burn the injured party or the person administering aid.
In tests on swine by the US Navy in Jacksonville, Celox™ granules were shown to result in 100% survival in a severe bleeding test.**
Celox™ is suitable for
- A wide range of surface bleeding wounds
- Lacerations, grazes and minor cuts
Celox™ Technology has been shown to:
- Save lives
- Reliably stop arterial bleeding**
- Significantly reduce blood loss**
- Clot blood containing anticoagulants like Coumadin (warfarin)*
- Clot hypothermic (cold) blood*
- Generate no heat.
